Medical Acupuncture

Contemporary Medical Acupuncture (CMA) is an effective and simple treatment approach based on current neurophysiology, neuroanatomy and pathophysiology and adapted from the traditional Chinese acupuncture methods. CMA is a therapeutic method used to encourage natural healing, reduce or relieve pain and swelling, and improve function by inserting very fine needles through the skin and tissue at specific points on the body. There is no injection of any substance and the treatment itself causes little or no discomfort.

Acupuncture is effective in treating a variety of painful conditions, both acute and chronic. It is often used as adjunctive therapy to physiotherapy, chiropractic and massage therapy.

Services are rendered by our Certified Acupuncturists who have been trained
