“I must say this experience was amazing. The kids loved it!!! As coaches we
know how 5 hours of ice a week is just not enough, this off-ice training helped
these kids physically, mentally and with discipline. It brought them closer as
a team and helped drive their motivation. Results were seen every game, this
training has helped bring this team from 5th place to 1st place in one year.
Thanks to all who were involved.”

When I first was introduced to the White Oaks baseball strengthening program, I
was told that the main focus would be on speed, power and core strength. With
the instruction of Phil, Peter and Chris it is easy to notice a difference in
speed and core strength during practise. As a result of consistent repetition
of certain exercises such as the core plank and medicine ball drills, my speed
and power during sprints has increased dramatically. It seems as though my take
off has become much quicker and my first step is much more powerful.
Also, when I joined the pitchers group, the resistance training conducted with
the rubber tubing has benefited my shoulder strength. Throughout the winter I
have not had shoulder problems because of the conditioning our team works on at
White Oaks along with the added tubing drills I work on at my house.
To sum up, I believe that the White Oaks training program has improved my game
in multiple forms. Increased arm strength, power, speed and core strength is
all a result of well-designed drills and proper exercising techniques. The
completion of the conditioning program at White Oaks added to personal training
on ones own time can increase skill level and ability in order go become a
better athlete.

Since starting this program at White Oaks I have noticed a huge improvement in
my balance both on and off the ice. I have also notice an improvement in my
starts and stops and can now get more power out of every stride. Faster foot
work and over all leg strength has been achieved while learning simple
exercises that I can do outside of the program. Overall I am very satisfied
with the results of twelve weeks of work.
