Last week I was speaking at the Healthy Workplaces Conference at the White Oaks Conference Resort and Spa just outside of Niagara on the Lake. This was not my first time visiting the incredible White Oaks property where everything, including the most amazing chairs that I have ever had the pleasure of sitting in, is perfectly designed to enhance their client's vacation and meeting experience.
On the bottom left hand corner of the White Oaks website you will find their philosophy summed up in three words. We Get It. When you click on the We Get It icon there is an explanation. A rather clinical explanation I thought, but an explanation none the less. Well, you know me. I was intrigued and more than a little bit curious so when I checked into the hotel a couple of days later I said to the handsome young gentleman named Joe proudly wearing his gold We Get It pin, "Joe, what is it exactly that you get?"
Joe looked at me perplexed. So I clarified. "Your philosophy at White Oaks is We Get It. What is it exactly that you get?" "Ahhh", he answered as he pointed to his pin and launched into a word for word delivery of the rather clinical explanation on the website, including the intensive training that all staff goes through to ensure that They Get It. I persisted. "And what is it exactly that you get?" At that point Joe looked at me not only as if the penny had finally dropped but as if the whole piggy bank had come crashing to the ground. He leaned almost imperceptibly over the counter towards me and said "It means that I am empowered to do whatever it takes to make sure that you have the absolutely best stay in this hotel that you have ever had anywhere. It is my job to do whatever it takes to make that happen."

Just came back from this hotel. We did not use the spa or sports complex, so can't comment on that. The room was outstanding. Jacuzzi bathtub wasn't the standard two person, you could fit three into it!
Very relaxing spot. Did not hear the highway, and yes it is close to it. I wondered about the distance from Niagara Falls, but drove there twice during our stay, and it was no more than 15 minutes.
Room service was fantastic; breakfast and full dinner were outstanding in taste, and presentation.
Hotel was very clean.
I would stay here many times over!
White Oaks never disappoints-always consistently first class! Every possible detail is attended to and anticipated. I was very pleased my favorite room was held for me. I'll be back with a conference in October and February and I look forward to it.
Relaxing, great place to stay …

We stumbled onto this place after leaving Niagara Falls. It's not exactly located in Niagara on the Lake. It's about 10 minute’s car drive away. It's a really nice drive though, through wine vineyards and a straight shot from the heart of town. The bed was super comfortable with a pillow top and the pillows were awesome, super soft. In the morning, we went the breakfast buffet, kind of pricey but worth it, they had fresh fruit smoothies and fresh squeezed orange juice. Soft robes in the room. They charge everything to your room which is really convenient; you can just walk around the resort and drink, etc. The staff was great, very helpful. There's also a Starbucks in the lobby, which was cool. We ordered room service really late at night, and it was a hot meal. I loved the place, wish I could have stayed longer.

After a terrible time celebrating part of our 25th Wedding Anniversary in Holguin, Cuba what a pleasure it was to stay at this hotel. From Ashlee, who answered all my questions when I phoned to make reservations, to John, Supervisor at Front Desk, to Sarah who took care of special requests for our anniversary dinner, to the rest of the staff you all made this a memorable weekend. The extra little things you did to make this a special surprise for my husband will make this an anniversary he will never forget. We both enjoyed all the hotel had to offer and our only regret is that we did not have enough time to spend enjoying the many things this hotel had to offer. We definitely will be back.
The Couple's Kickback Package that we took advantage of was just what we both needed. The grounds around the hotel were beautiful, the gym was great, room beautiful and relaxing, and food was excellent. As part of the package, we also got to enjoy a carriage ride through Niagara on the Lake with Brenda and Ben, the horse.

I have never been anywhere where people smile so much. The staff is extremely pleasant. While waiting for our appointments in the spa we were invited to try the new hand cream. We thought that was sweet of the front area to do. We love coming here; it's our relaxation away from home whenever we can get away!
Without question …

Without question, our stay at White Oaks was outstanding. The hospitality team not only met or expectations but exceeded them! Our goal for the weekend was to unwind, enjoy great food & drink and take advantage of the spa and other amenities. Thanks to White Oaks and the help of Nicole, who looked after our upgrade requests to the Winter Glow package, we achieved just that! My husband and I feel relaxed, rejuvenated and are looking forward to our next stay :)   Yvette McGee.
