Jackson-Triggs Niagara Estate Winery is a state-of-the-art, 47,000 square foot winemaking facility, set within a picturesque 26-acre vineyard, dedicated to the production of premium, super and ultra premium VQA wines from the Niagara Peninsula.

Designed by the internationally acclaimed architectural firm, Kuwabara Payne McKenna Blumberg Architects (KPMB), the winery is inspired by traditional farm buildings with their "post and beam" frames and wide barn doors. An award-winner for both its contemporary architecture and its commitment to environmental sustainability, the winery combines the most advanced winemaking technologies with modern hospitality while paying tribute to the timeless elements of rural agriculture in the Niagara region.

As examples of the sensitivity to the handling of its precious grapes, the winemaking process utilizes a gravity-flow assisted system to minimize the harmful pumping of young wine. Storage cellars are set deep underground where natural moisture and cooler temperatures provide ideal conditions for barrel aging. Conservation practices include the maximum use of natural ventilation and daylight, recycled and natural building materials, and systems to reduce water consumption.

Located at 2145 Niagara Stone Road (Regional Road 55) in Niagara-on-the-Lake, the winery is open to visitors from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm daily. Private guided tours offer visitors, in limited numbers at a time, the ultimate wine education experience where they will learn how premium wines are made close-up in an intimate setting. Every aspect of winemaking is explored from the initial pressing of the grapes, to barrel aging in the cellars.

A Tasting Gallery overlooking the vineyards invites visitors to taste a number of Jackson-Triggs wines , and to learn the differences between different varietals and different vintages. Visitors are also given the opportunity to try a unique food and wine sensory experience.

At the winery boutique, visitors can purchase the wide selection of Jackson-Triggs VQA table wines, sparkling wines and Icewines, both from the award-winning Proprietors' Reserve series, and the super premium Grand Reserve portfolio, which is exclusive to the winery.

One of the most exciting ways to enjoy a sampling of Jackson-Triggs wines is to attend one of the winery's summer concerts at its gorgeous open-air amphitheatre. Set amidst the vineyards, Jackson-Triggs launched is first "Twilight in the Vineyard" performance series in 2002.

Enjoying great Canadian wine and delicious food selections from Jacskon-Triggs' Vineyard Grille, with exceptional Canadian music under the warm summer stars, is an absolutely unforgettable experience. With its small capacity and intimate setting, "Twilight in the Vineyard" has become one of Ontario's most sought after summer concert experiences.
